Description
Frankenstein's creature wasn't the only movie monster to be immortalized by horror legend Boris Karloff. In another classic chiller from Universal Studios, Karloff shambles on to the screen as the reanimated remains of Imhotep, an ancient Egyptian priest still yearning for his lost love. Reappearing as a modern day Egyptologist, Karloff becomes obsessed with a young woman who bears a striking resemblance to his beloved queen from centuries past. As much a tragic love story as it is a horror movie, it benefits immensely from the sure hand of first time director Karl Freund and the meticulous make-up effects by Jack Pierce.

    Comments about this product:

This is a classic must-see film from the 1930's. Makeup magician Jack Pierce worked on Karloff, both at the start of their Hollywood careers.
An eerie, suspenseful film typical of the era's horror genre, it follows the mummy in his quest to find his intended mate for the afterlife. Enjoy it with your children.
