Bob Hope brings his trademark humor to the legendary Western farce "The Paleface" (1948), opposite an irresistible Jane Russell in this Academy Award-winning Technicolor offering. As a bumbling dentist trying to eke out a living on the frontier, things aren't going so well for Hope until Russell seduces him into wedlock. Marital bliss is short-lived as he discovers that she's really Calamity Jane and she married him only to keep a gang of bandits off her tail. Now this coward must learn to stand up for himself if he's going to survive this wacky and wild comedy.
