This double feature boasts one of the silver screen's most enduring legends. In "The Sheik" (1921), silent-era sex symbol Rudolph Valentino stars as Sheik Ahmed Ben Hassan, who falls for a modern Englishwoman, played by Agnes Ayres, whisking her away to his home in the desert. Valentino reprises his role as well as that of the Sheik's son, Ahmed, in "Son of the Sheik" (1926). In this film, Ahmed falls for the daughter of a thief who plans to hold Ahmed for ransom.
