What does he have to do to fit in? Norman Wisdom stars in "The Square Peg" (1958), a classic World War II comedy as a simple road repairman who, after accidentally stepping into enemy territory while mending a road, finds himself teaming up with the Resistance. Wisdom and his sidekick are sent to France to repair roads in front of the Allied advance but end up captured. Using his uncanny resemblance to a commanding officer, Wisdom leads a mission to rescue British soldiers from a German prison.
