Comedy takes to the seas with Jack Lemmon and Ricky Nelson in "The Wackiest Ship In the Army" (1960). Lemmon is a Naval commander assigned the top-secret mission of smuggling a spy through dangerous South Pacific waters. Disguising his vessel as a Japanese fishing boat, the commander tries to turn a ridiculous and inexperienced crew into the stealth sailors he needs them to be, with no help from Nelson's wacky first officer. Laughter and adventure fill the sails of this entertaining picture.
