Based on the story by Roald Dahl, this adventure fantasy concerns a young boy who stumbles across a magical plot to turn England's children in to mice. While on vacation with his grandmother, a young boy and his friend find themselves witnesses to the annual witches convention in their hotel. Soon discovered, they are turned into mice by Angelica Huston's Grand High Witch, who has a particular dislike of children. The wizards at Jim Henson's creature shop work their renowned puppetry magic and add some truly dazzling special effects to this winner of children's movie.
