The 1929 version of "Madame X" also stars Lewis Stone, Raymond Hackett; Lionel Barrymore directs. AKA: "Absinthe." And, 1937's "Madame X" stars Gladys George as the disgraced former wife of a diplomat, reunited with her son after 20 years when he attempts to clear her of murder charges without knowing who she really is.
