What if you had to clear the name of a man falsely accused of a crime and sentenced to hang? What if that man were your own son? In this guns-blazing Western, Harry Carey plays a jaded sheriff whose son has taken to some bad company, namely, a gang of scoundrels. When a stagecoach robbery, masterminded by the gang's leader - played by Roger Williams - goes awry and a deputy is killed in the ensuing shootout, Carey's son, played by Edward Norris, finds himself hours from the noose. That leaves Carey, enforcer of the law, to set things right, lone-gunman style.
