Madison Walker, a New Orleans phone sex worker, suffers from Disassociate Identity Disorder - a condition that fillsher world with imaginary personalities. In an effort to rid herself of these apparitions, Madison proposes locking herself away in her apartment for 30 days without contact from the outside world. Recording her ordeal in a video diary, Madison makes a fateful decision - should she not succeed after 30 days, she will put herself out of her own misery. Elisabeth Shue costars as a caring psychiatrist doing her best to provide Madison with some small amount of comfort.
