    Comments about this product:

This is a remake of "The More the Merrier" starring Jean Arthur, Joel McCrea, Charles Colburn in 1940's Washington, DC. However, this version is just as entertaining and charming. It stars Cary Grant (in his last movie), Samantha Eggar, Jim Hutton in the 1960's in Toyko, Japan during the summer Olympics.

Cary gets to plays cupid! He is debonair as ever! He can't get a room because he arrived two days early. He imposes upon a young lady and her apartment. The next day, he finds a young man that has the same problem, no lodging! They team up in the same bedroom.

Eggar is angry, one non-female roommate is bad, now two non-female roommates is ugly! She is too much a lady to let go a thousand expletives that these invaders deserve. She gives them the most impossible morning schedule of bathroom time and duties. It is a laugh!

Cary finds out she is engaged to a man that doesn't fit his vision for Eggar. He interferes and arranges miscarriage of circumstances. Cary even tries to get these two marry to avoid tarnished reputation and gossip. Then arranges to engage these two to do what is natural between female and male.

It is comic fun all along way. I love this remake as much as I love the original. I guarantee you will laugh.
