"Warner Bros. and The Homefront Collection" (2008) is a 3-disc collection of classic World War II films that showcase the true patriotism of Americans. "Irving Berlin's This is the Army" (1943) is an entertaining endeavor that is based on the hit stage play that also featured an all-GI cast. The film won an Academy Award and stars George Murphy, Ronald Reagan and Joan Leslie while featuring Joe Louis, Kate Smith and Irving Berlin. "Thank Your Lucky Stars" (1943) brings the stars out to frolic in a light, behind-the-scenes story, featuring Humphrey Bogart being menaced by S.Z. "Cuddles" Sakall. "Hollywood Canteen" (1944) is a fun salute to the popular hospitality club. The film stars canteen co-founders Bette Davis and John Garfield and features other era notables, from Jack Benny and Barbara Stanwyck to Western star Roy Rogers.
