Edward Hogg stars as true-life cult hero Jesco White in "White Lightnin'" (2009). Known as the Dancing Outlaw, White's life in the heart of the Appalachian Mountains was filled with trouble with the law and stints in mental institutions. His father taught him a rustic and frenetic form of tap dancing to country banjo music in the hope of giving him direction and a place to put his energy. When his father was murdered, Jesco laced up his father's dance shoes and took his show on the road, tormented by the death and his own troubled instincts. Carrie Fisher stars as the object of White's affection.
