You don't really have to guess. That girl is Madonna. She's playing Nikki, a free-spirited gal wrongly accused of murder. When she is sprung from the big house, stuffy lawyer Loudon (Griffin Dunne) is assigned the task of getting Nikki out of town before she ruins things for snobby Simon Worthington (John McMartin). A hapless Loudon is now dragged all over the Big Apple, sometimes with a cougar in tow, in an effort for Nikki to clear her name. Along the way these two crazy kids fall for each other. Obviously, Madonna provides the soundtrack songs.

    Comments about this product:

Hilarious, screwball comedy in the vein of What's Up Doc? and Bringing Up Baby. Madonna's-Nikki Finn is funny, sexy, courageous and irrepressible. Griffin Dunne as Loudon Trott, is naive, mild-mannered and lovable. Haviland Morris is outrageously funny, as Loudon's spoiled, stuck-up fiancée-Wendy Worthington. Sir John Mills is perfect as the befuddled, eccentric Montgomery Bell, who has "lost" his man-servant in his animal-filled, Brazilian rain forest, roof top. Don't let the initial poor reviews this movie received when it was released, keep you from this nutty gem!
