In this intriguing 2-disc documentary about one of the founding women of radio and television, "Yoo-Hoo, Mrs. Goldberg" (2009) explores the achievements of Gertrude Berg, who helped to pave the way for future generations of women in the entertainment industry in her over 25-year career. Known affectionately to audiences for her character Molly Goldberg, director Aviva Kemper explores Berg's many achievements and difficulties, including her childhood as a first-generation Jewish-American woman and her fight against the blacklisting of Hollywood entertainers, as well as her win of the first-ever Best Actress Emmy in 1951. Featuring interviews with noted friends and colleagues including Ruth Bader Ginsburg, Norman Lear and Ed Asner.
