The town of Bogota, New Jersey-approaching the mayoral election of 2004-is the setting for this too-weird-to-be-fiction documentary. Unpopular Republican (and legally blind) incumbent Steven Lonegan fights for his political life as reluctantly drafted Democratic opponent Fred Pesce invites some scandal of his own during the campaign, leaving the door open for write-in candidate (and sight-challenged) Dave Musikant to steal the race in spite of his rookiestatus. 93 min. Widescreen (Enhanced); Soundtrack: English Dolby Digital 5.1; audio commentary; biographies; bonus short; deleted scenes; interviews; theatrical trailers.
