The Cisco Kid made its debut on the radio airwaves in 1943, going on to become one of the longest lasting television Westerns of all time. The series made it to the small screen by 1950 and was aired until 1955. The show revolved around history's legendary Cisco Kid depicted on the series as being misunderstood by lawmen who believed the Kid and his cohort to be criminals. Because Cisco and his pal had the erroneous label of being desperadoes, the guilt for committing various crimes was inevitably dumpedupon them. The poor, however, viewed the duo as heroes who always did the right thing when officers of the law, bound by red tape and delayed by the slow moving wheels of justice, would not.The Cisco Kid starred Duncan Renaldo as Cisco and Leo Carilloas his good-natured sidekick Pancho. Filmed in color, the series enjoyed a five-year run and then went into syndication, lasting well into the 1970s. Notably, The Cisco Kid also spawned a made for TV movie that debuted in 1994, featuring Jimmy Smits as Cisco and Cheech Marin as the lovable Pancho.FEATURING 6 EPISODESBoomerangMedicine FlatsRailroad Land RushBig SwitchConvict StoryOil Land
