"Convention Girl" (1935) stars Rose Hobart as beautiful "Babe" Laval, a call girl in Atlantic City. Babe caters to morally sketchy conventioneers who are looking for a good time and have money to burn. Although she appears tough as nails, deep down Babe is a nice girl who dreams of true love and a happy home. Gambler Bill Bradley (Weldon Heyburn) is sweet on her, but she rejects him because of his profession. She thinks that tycoon Ward Hollister (Herbert Rawlinson) may be her ticket to the good life, butwhen Bill intervenes he starts looking good to her after all. The film was shot on location in Atlantic City.
