Young Chris Chase (Louis Corbett) was miffed about having to summer with his archeologist dad (Sam Neill) at a Chinese dig site...as was Ling Li (Li Lin Jin), daughter of the project supervisor (Ji Wang). Both kids would find all the excitement they could handle, however, as an eccentric monk (Jordan Chan) leads them to the lair of an earth-bound dragon...and they embark on a quest to deliver the mythical creature his freedom.
