By the Fifties, she was alternating between stage, screen and television roles. In 1971, at the age of 67, she had a starring role in the Tony award-winning musical, Follies. Her co-star in The Girl From Calgary, Paul Kelly, also went on to Broadway success, receiving a Tony for Best Actor in 1948.
