Newly divorced doctor Robert Laing (Tom Hiddleston) was looking for a fresh start when he moved into the looming new contained residential complex where society’s poorer strata occupied the lower floors, and the wealthiest--including the structure’s enigmatic architect (Jeremy Irons)--resided above.
