Unmoored (and possibly unhinged) by the loss of her mother, social media-addicted rust-belter Ingrid Thorburn (Aubrey Plaza) concludes that her next move is to head to L.A. and insinuate herself into the existence of relentlessly self-promoting online lifestyle influencer Taylor Sloane (Elizabeth Olsen). As Taylor starts to get her fill of her too-perfect new bestie, however, she’ll find her not so easy to unfriend.
