From the late '60s to the early '70s, Ford Motor Co. transported the industrial waste from its Mahwah, New Jersey, plant and dumped it in the Ringwood environs of the Ramapough Mountain Indian Tribe. After a generation of prevalent and abnormal health disorders, the community leaders mounted a class action toxic tort suit against the auto maker. Their legal battle, including the new conclusions made about Ford's EPA-approved cleanup of the site in the 1990s, make for a memorable experience. 106 min.
