Aspiring actor Dick Van Dyke can't get a part, but he's sure having a wonderful crime when gangsters hear him rehearse and mistake him for a famous hit man. Every time he tries to set the record straight, he just gets in deeper until suddenly he's pullingoff an art heist for kingpin Edward G. Robinson, the original "Little Caesar" (1931). Jerry Paris, formerly neighbor Jerry Helper on "The Dick Van Dyke Show," directs the hilarious gangster spoof, co-starring Dorothy Provine, Henry Silva, Slim Pickens and Jack Elam.
