"A Room in Rome" reveals an erotic night of unbridled passion between two women who have just met. Spanish filmmaker Julio Medem weaves the controversial story with a beauty from Spain, Alba, played by Elena Anaya, who, on the last day of her vacation, meets the alluring Russian Natasha, portrayed by Natasha Yarovenko. Their mutual attraction leads them into a 12-hour bed-fest interrupted only by the occasional room service order. They openly share their bodies as well as the stories of their lives. But it remains to be seen if the tales they tell are true or just fantastical fabrications between two women who believe they will never see each other again. This boundary-breaking film made its North American debut at the 2010 Seattle International Film Festival.
