Entrepreneur Jack Harris (Jason Isaacs) wanted to bring in thrill-seekers when he placed a fabulous resort on a Pacific Rim island with a too-recent history of volcanic activity...and vulcanologist Meng Li (Hannah Quinlivan) was there to vouch for its stability.
