Del Lord took time off from the dozens of Three Stooges shorts he made for Columbia Pictures to direct this fast-paced crime thriller. Lyle Talbot stars as a police officer who quits his job after a moment of hesitation costs a rookie copy his life duringa bank robbery. Changing his name, he goes rogue to infiltrate the robbers' gang, until a chance run in with girlfriend Wendy Barrie blows his cover. Film noir icon Marc Lawrence of "Key Largo" (1948) and "The Asphalt Jungle" (1950) co-stars.
